What Sets Us Apart

Cheryl’s Difference

Cheryl’s Critter Care began in 2007 after our Weimaraner, who struggled with separation anxiety, showed us how difficult it was to find the right kind of boarding. What started as a solution for her quickly grew into a passion for helping other dogs who need extra care.

Today, we serve Rochester, Stewartville, and the southern Minnesota area, specializing in small dogs under 20 pounds—especially the shy, anxious, and fearful pups who may not thrive in a traditional boarding facility.

What They're Saying

"My dog suffers from separation anxiety and became apparent that she could no longer go to a traditional kennel as when I picked her up she was always in extreme distress. I was stuck in what I was going to be able to do and if we were ever going to be go anywhere. I found Cheryl's Critter Care through a mutual friend and it has been a great blessing. Onyx enjoys going there and Cheryl does an excellent job administering her meds. I never worry about leaving her now and that lets me enjoy my time away!"
